After working at the Chateau Lafayette for 22 years as the soundman for the Lucky Ron Show, Dave Bignell was given his own regular show on Monday nights - Five Star Mondays. Drawing on his background of rock, funk, country, jazz, & blues, he will be performing a selection of his original songs as well as an eclectic assortment of tunes from a wide variety of musical genres for your listening pleasure ! His last show at the Laff was with The Hammerheads for Lucky Ron’s wedding, but for the Five Star Mondays Dave will be backed up by a small combo of well known Ottawa musicians : Peter Von Althen /Drums, Ned Pitt / Bass, Fred Guignion /Guitar.
