Come and enjoy a moving and powerful show. Héritières is a vocal and orchestral concert about women’s collective heritage over time. Driven by a shared vital impulse, 20 female musicians and performers will come together on the NAC stage to explore inherited roles and wounds, and try to articulate the remnants of history in the utopian hope of putting an end to the intergenerational transmission of trauma. 

Directed by Émilie Laforest, the show plunges the audience into the heart of the process of embracing ancestral memories, as the performers set out to discover traces of their own history. The Héritières will transmit the voices of their mothers through a rich musical experience.
